Full‑time Team Member – Retail & Trade

About the role

We are hiring multiple full‑time team members for our Mitre 10 MEGA store in Warkworth. The roles are customer‑facing and practical, covering Gardens, Customer Service and Trade areas. You will help keep the store running smoothly while delivering friendly, efficient service to our community.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain plant health, water, price and assist customers in the Gardens department.
• Support shoppers on the shop floor and at the front‑end, process sales and resolve queries in Customer Service.
• Assist trade and retail customers with building‑materials orders, process orders and help with fulfilment across the trade counter and yard.
• Ensure store areas are well‑presented and stocked, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Required profile

• Experience in horticulture, timber, building supplies, hardware, retail or a trade‑related environment (preferred).
• Full driver’s licence with the ability to obtain an F endorsement (training provided).
• Clear communication skills and confidence interacting with a range of customers.
• Physical capability to lift, move stock and perform outdoor work.
• Accuracy when handling transactions, orders or stock.
• Practical, task‑focused approach and availability for full‑time hours, including at least one weekend day.
• Early starts and late finishes – best suited to candidates living in Warkworth, Rodney or nearby.
