Full-Time Retail Sales Assistant – Mt Wellington

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic full‑time Retail Sales Assistants to join our Petdirect store in Mt Wellington. In this customer‑facing role you will help pet owners find the right products while delivering a friendly, fun shopping experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers, providing product advice for pets.
• Maintain store presentation, stock shelves and ensure merchandise is well displayed.
• Process sales transactions accurately using the point‑of‑sale system.
• Achieve individual and team sales targets and earn performance incentives.
• Support inventory checks and receive deliveries.

Required profile

• Passion for animals and a genuine interest in pet care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Team‑player attitude with a positive, fun‑loving mindset.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency with a point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
