Full Stack Engineer – PHP/Laravel, React, AWS

About the role

We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join our close‑knit engineering team in Auckland. This hands‑on position will have you working across backend, frontend and cloud technologies, starting with onboarding tasks and progressing to larger build and migration projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using PHP and Laravel.
• Implement frontend features with React and Next.js.
• Work with AWS services such as EC2 and S3 to support cloud‑hosted applications.
• Start with BAU tasks to learn the system, then own larger pieces of work.
• Collaborate in an agile, cross‑functional environment to keep projects moving.

Required profile

• Strong commercial experience building web applications.
• Comfortable working end‑to‑end, with a backend focus and solid frontend ability.
• Practical experience with AWS in a production setting.
• Collaborative, communicative and able to work in a small visible team.
• Willingness to take ownership and step into a project‑lead role when needed.
