Full Container Load (FCL) Dispatcher – Auckland

About the role

Visy Logistics is seeking a Full Container Load (FCL) Dispatcher to join its Auckland team. In this full‑time position you will support the safe and efficient movement of cargo across New Zealand, acting as the main point of contact for customers, carriers and internal transport teams.

Key responsibilities

• Handle daily operational queries and provide timely updates to customers and carriers.
• Communicate shipment changes, delays or other updates to relevant parties.
• Process and reconcile vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
• Maintain compliance records, including fatigue‑management logs and chain‑of‑responsibility documentation.
• Update transport management systems, respond to operational alerts and verify order details.
• Collaborate with internal teams to keep information consistent across platforms.
• Build strong relationships with drivers, subcontractors and customers.
• Identify and implement improvements to streamline administrative processes.

Required profile

• Experience in FCL dispatch or administrative support within a wharf, cartage or transport environment.
• Good knowledge of NZTA fatigue laws and Chain of Responsibility requirements.
• Strong organisational, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to stay calm and productive in a fast‑paced setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with transport management systems, particularly Cargowise.
• Invoicing and reconciliation experience.
