Front Office Supervisor – Hospitality

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Front Office Supervisor to join the team at Oaks Queenstown Shores, part of the Minor Hotels portfolio. In this role you will lead the front desk team, ensuring every guest receives a warm welcome and a seamless check‑in and check‑out experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support the front office team in delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Act as a role model, sharing expertise and motivating staff to maintain high service standards.
• Oversee daily front office tasks, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
• Manage guest arrivals and departures, guaranteeing smooth check‑in/check‑out processes.
• Address and resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally.
• Maintain a rotating roster covering Monday to Sunday, with shift times between 7:00 am and 11:00 pm.

Required profile

• Demonstrated leadership abilities with prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Extensive hospitality background, preferably in a hotel or resort environment.
• Strong customer service orientation and professional demeanor, even under pressure.
• Excellent time‑management and prioritisation skills.
• Impeccable professional presentation.
• Flexibility to work weekends and adapt to varying schedules.
