Front of House Team Member (Fixed Term) – Central Otago

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Front of House team member to join our cellar door and restaurant at The Shed in Central Otago. This fixed‑term position runs until April 2027 and combines serving guests, hosting wine tastings, and supporting the kitchen as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Serve guests in the restaurant, ensuring a memorable dining experience.
• Conduct wine tastings and promote Cloudy Bay wines at the cellar door.
• Assist the kitchen team during busy periods.
• Drive wine, merchandise, and wine‑club sign‑ups through excellent guest interaction.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Required profile

• Genuine passion for hospitality, food, and wine.
• Experience in a wine‑focused environment such as a cellar door, wine bar, or high‑end restaurant.
• Legal right to work in New Zealand.
• Availability to work weekends and public holidays.
• Strong communication skills and a team‑first mindset.
