Front-End Developer (Contract) – Auckland

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Front‑End Developer to join our team on a 6‑month contract in Auckland. You will work on web applications built with Angular and collaborate closely with Java‑based backend services, as well as contribute to native mobile apps for iOS and Android.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive web interfaces using Angular.
• Integrate front‑end components with Java backend APIs.
• Build and support native mobile applications using Swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android).
• Consume and test RESTful APIs, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, sprint planning and code reviews.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality features.
• Apply best practices for version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

Required profile

• Proven experience developing web applications with Angular.
• Strong proficiency in Java for backend development and integration.
• Solid experience building native mobile apps using Swift and Kotlin.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Git and agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
