Freight Handler

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Freight Handler to join our busy courier warehouse in Auckland. You will play a key part in ensuring safe and efficient movement of goods while supporting our high‑service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily safety checks and maintain a safe working environment.
• Load and unload unit load devices in a fast‑paced courier setting.
• Replenish consumable stock and manage inventory, including stocktaking and housekeeping.
• Complete and verify documentation, labeling, and packaging for Dangerous Goods for road transport (full training provided).
• Meet Service Level Agreements in line with contractual obligations.
• Work autonomously when required and provide coverage at other Auckland sites.

Required profile

• Strong health and safety awareness.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail and a customer‑centric mindset.
• Motivated, reliable and physically fit (able to lift up to 25 kg).

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
