Freelance Mechanical Engineer & Python AI Trainer

About the role

This freelance position involves creating and testing computational engineering problems for AI systems. You will combine mechanical engineering knowledge with Python programming to design realistic, numerically intensive tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Design original computational engineering problems that mimic real‑world workflows.
• Create Python‑based problem statements requiring numerical methods, iterative solutions, and optimization.
• Develop tasks that reflect practical engineering constraints and research challenges.
• Validate solutions using Python libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and SciPy.
• Document problem descriptions clearly and provide verified correct answers.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years of professional, research, or teaching experience in engineering or related domains.
• Strong written English proficiency (C1 level or higher).
• Professional certifications (e.g., CMME, SAS) are a plus.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• NumPy, Pandas, SciPy.
• MATLAB, R, C, SQL (any one is acceptable).
