Freelance Application Developer – Mobile & Web Platform Revamp

About the role

This freelance position leads the redevelopment of an established golf points game management platform. The project transforms a legacy Microsoft .NET and SQL Server web application into a modern cross‑platform mobile app for iOS and Android, together with a new web‑based admin portal.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and build a cross‑platform mobile application (iOS & Android) for golf game management.
• Develop a secure, scalable web admin portal for club and group administrators.
• Integrate real‑time push notifications, in‑app messaging, GHIN handicap data, and a live scoreboard.
• Design and implement subscription billing and payment‑gateway integration.
• Migrate existing data and features from the legacy .NET/SQL Server system.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and iterate on features.
• Ensure security, data privacy, and compliance throughout the solution.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering cross‑platform mobile applications using frameworks such as React Native or Flutter.
• Strong background in modern web application development and backend technologies.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and scalable infrastructure.
• Ability to integrate third‑party APIs and manage real‑time data synchronization.
• Experience with subscription billing systems and payment‑gateway integration.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
