Food & Beverage Supervisor

About the role

Join the vibrant team at Te Kaahu, the new dining concept within Pullman Auckland Airport, and lead daily operations across the restaurant, bar and event spaces. You will ensure every guest experiences professional, efficient and friendly service while supporting the hotel’s reputation for culinary excellence and Māori heritage.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee restaurant, bar and event service, coordinating with kitchen and front‑office teams.
• Supervise, train and mentor the Food & Beverage team, manage rosters and support recruitment.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene, Responsible Service of Alcohol and cash handling standards.
• Conduct regular stocktakes, control costs and ensure billing accuracy.
• Engage with VIP and regular guests, handle enquiries and complaints with empathy.
• Drive revenue through upselling, promotions and loyalty programmes.
• Support special events, new initiatives and service innovations.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years experience in a Food & Beverage supervisory role, preferably in hotels or high‑volume venues.
• Proven ability to lead and develop teams while fostering an inclusive culture.
• Strong understanding of food safety legislation, Responsible Service of Alcohol and workplace health & safety.
• Excellent communication and guest‑service orientation.
