About the role

Join the iconic Westaways team at Walter Peak, where every day brings a new mix of hospitality tasks. As a Food & Beverage Retail Host you’ll welcome guests from around the world, serve coffee and meals, and help them discover memorable souvenirs and experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and host international visitors, ensuring a warm first impression.
• Prepare and serve coffee, food, and beverages to high standards.
• Sell gifts, souvenirs and RealNZ experiences, meeting sales targets.
• Create attractive retail displays and maintain store presentation.
• Assist with stock control, merchandising and inventory management.
• Keep the environment clean, safe and welcoming for guests and teammates.

Required profile

• Previous experience in food & beverage service or retail.
• Passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, can‑do attitude.
• Enjoys variety and can juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Barista or bar experience is a plus.
• Duty Manager’s Certificate is beneficial but not essential.
