Food & Beverage Duty Manager

About the role

The Food & Beverage Duty Manager oversees daily operations across multiple F&B outlets at InterContinental Wellington, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and smooth service delivery. You will lead a team, address guest needs, and maintain high standards of quality and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate day‑to‑day outlet activities to maximise guest satisfaction, service quality and revenue.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve complaints in a professional manner.
• Maintain a visible, hands‑on presence on the floor, guiding and supporting team members.
• Train, coach and develop staff to uphold operational excellence and service standards.

Required profile

• Excellent organisational abilities with capacity to juggle multiple tasks.
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills in a fast‑paced environment.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a restaurant, bar or hotel setting.
• Flexibility to work evenings, events and public holidays.
