Food & Beverage Attendant

About the role

The Food & Beverage Attendant at Mövenpick Hotel Auckland plays a central part in delivering memorable dining experiences for guests. You will support the vibrant Food & Beverage concepts, including the Michelin‑Guide‑recognised BODA Restaurant, by providing warm, personalised service in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders while maximising sales opportunities through recommendations and upselling.
• Develop strong knowledge of menus, beverages and hotel offerings to confidently engage with guests.
• Maintain clear communication with the kitchen and wider hotel team to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Deliver prompt, professional, and personalised service to create memorable dining experiences.
• Uphold high standards of hygiene, food safety and cleanliness across all service and guest areas.

Required profile

• A passion for hospitality, quality service and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with confidence to engage guests from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Positive, adaptable approach with composure under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster across seven days, including weekends, public holidays and varied shift times.
• Previous experience in hospitality or food and beverage service is advantageous.
• Professional presentation and genuine enthusiasm for showcasing food, beverage and hotel experiences.
