Food & Beverage Attendant

About the role

Join the vibrant team at Novotel & Ibis Auckland Ellerslie as a Food & Beverage Attendant. You will be the front‑line ambassador for our guests, delivering prompt, friendly service and helping to maximise sales across our food and beverage outlets.

Key responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders accurately and suggest additional items to increase sales.
• Learn and become confident in promoting our menu items to guests.
• Communicate clearly and efficiently with the kitchen to ensure timely order delivery.
• Provide prompt, courteous service to all guests.
• Maintain hygienic food‑service practices throughout each shift.

Required profile

• Passion for quality presentation and delivering outstanding customer service.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence when engaging with guests.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working under pressure, thinking quickly and making decisions.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends, public holidays, mornings and night shifts.
