Food & Beverage Assistant

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic Food & Beverage Assistants to join The Helier, a premium retirement living community in St Heliers, New Zealand. In this role you will help deliver high‑quality dining experiences for our residents while supporting a safe and welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with daily food and beverage operations as directed by senior staff.
• Prepare and serve meals and beverages, ensuring presentation and quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in service areas, complying with health and safety policies.
• Observe and follow all company health and safety procedures.
• Provide courteous, personalized service to residents and respond to their needs promptly.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar food & beverage role or related hospitality position.
• Strong team player who enjoys working alongside others.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service consistently.
• Ability to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
• Legal right to work in New Zealand.
