Food & Beverage All Rounder

About the role

JO&JOE Auckland is looking for a Food & Beverage All Rounder to support bar and kitchen operations, ensuring guests enjoy a fun, friendly and seamless experience in a vibrant hostel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a warm welcome to all guests, both locals and travellers.
• Take food and drink orders accurately and assist with service at the bar or tables.
• Deliver food to guests with energy, ensuring proper presentation and timing.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across service areas, including tables, counters and equipment.
• Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment needs to the manager.
• Support the team during events and busy periods to create an inclusive atmosphere.
• Follow all safety and hygiene protocols, including food handling and alcohol service regulations.

Required profile

• Natural flair for customer service.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast‑paced environment.
• Minimum one year of experience in a similar hospitality role.
• Legal right to work in New Zealand and fluent English.
