Food and Beverage Attendant / Barista

About the role

As a Food and Beverage Attendant & Barista at Mövenpick Hotel Auckland you will be the face of our hospitality experience. You will craft high‑quality coffee and beverages, serve guests across the restaurant, bar and café, and create memorable moments through personalised service.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve premium coffee, tea and specialty drinks.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including equipment setup and supply management.
• Provide proactive food and beverage service across all outlets, recommending items and upselling where appropriate.
• Develop thorough knowledge of menus, beverages and hotel offerings to engage confidently with guests.
• Maintain clear communication with kitchen and hotel teams to ensure seamless service.
• Deliver prompt, professional and personalised service to enhance the guest experience.
• Uphold high standards of hygiene, food safety and cleanliness in all service areas.

Required profile

• A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Barista certification or proven experience preparing specialty coffee is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
