About the role

Join a national 0800 24/7 Clinical Support Line that provides telephone‑based clinical advice to Aged Residential Care facilities across New Zealand. This remote, flexible telehealth position enables General Practitioners and Nurse Practitioners to support older patients from any location.

Key responsibilities

• Provide timely, evidence‑based clinical advice to nursing staff caring for residents in approximately 100 aged care facilities.
• Respond to clinical queries via phone, ensuring patient safety and appropriate care pathways.
• Collaborate with the wider clinical support team to maintain consistent service quality.
• Document interactions and outcomes in accordance with organisational protocols.

Required profile

• Qualified General Practitioner or Nurse Practitioner registered in New Zealand.
• Experience delivering clinical care in aged‑care or community settings.
• Ability to work independently and make autonomous clinical decisions.
• Strong communication skills for remote, telephone‑based consultations.
