First Response Associate / Senior Associate / Special Counsel

About the role

Atmos is expanding its specialist First Response Team and is looking for legal professionals to lead real‑time cyber incident and data‑breach responses. You will work directly with clients, internal experts and the Atmos First Response and Remediation Panel to manage high‑stakes cyber and privacy events as they unfold.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate frontline incident response for cyber incidents, data breaches and privacy events.
• Develop and execute regulatory notification strategies and crisis communication plans.
• Coordinate cross‑border incidents with the global Atmos Atlas panel.
• Oversee post‑incident remediation, risk mitigation and documentation.
• Collaborate with digital forensics, threat intelligence, crisis communications, regulators, cyber‑insurance partners and internal product teams.

Required profile

• Associate, Senior Associate or Special Counsel level with experience in cyber incident response, privacy or technology matters.
• Comfortable working in fast‑moving, high‑pressure environments and providing clear, actionable advice.
• Strong client‑facing orientation and ability to translate complex legal and technical issues.
• Collaborative mindset and interest in interdisciplinary work.

Required skills

• Experience in cyber incident response, data protection or privacy law.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks governing data breaches.
• Ability to manage crisis situations and stakeholder communications.
