Fire Sprinkler Service Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Fire Sprinkler Service Technician to join our Hamilton branch. The role involves installing, commissioning, servicing and testing fire sprinkler, hose‑reel, special‑hazard and hydrant systems while representing Wormald professionally on site.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission, service and test fire sprinkler, hose‑reel, special‑hazard and hydrant systems.
• Ensure installations comply with supplied drawings and specifications.
• Represent Wormald New Zealand Limited on site in a courteous and professional manner.
• Participate in internal and external training to stay current with industry developments.
• Maintain a positive attitude and support department objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience installing fixed fire‑protection systems.
• Background in the plumbing industry.
• Ability to work from technical drawings.
• Competence in fitting pipes, valves, pumps and related accessories.
• New Zealand residency/citizenship or a valid work visa (overseas candidates with NZ fire standards knowledge are welcome).
