Financial & Project Accountant

About the role

As a Financial & Project Accountant you will support the integrity of financial information across asset management and project accounting. Reporting to the Financial Reporting & Consolidation Lead, you will be involved in core accounting processes while providing financial insights and analysis to improve efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and support monthly financial reporting, analyse variances and explain findings.
• Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements, including consolidations and disclosures.
• Complete balance‑sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding items promptly.
• Manage fixed‑asset accounting and reporting, ensuring accuracy and alignment with records.
• Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.
• Track and report project‑related financial performance across the portfolio.
• Administer project systems such as Planview and maintain planning data.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (CA, CPA or equivalent) or working towards certification.
• Strong attention to detail and proactive approach to work.
• Excellent analytical ability and clear communication skills.
• Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel and the wider Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems (beneficial).
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Planview.
