Financial Controller

About the role

Partly is looking for a Financial Controller to own the end‑to‑end accounting function and support rapid global growth. Reporting to the CFO, you will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance across multiple jurisdictions, and smooth operational finance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all financial accounting and reporting, including revenue recognition, month‑end and year‑end close, and consolidated reporting across Partly’s entities.
• Maintain compliance with tax and statutory obligations in New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and future jurisdictions.
• Manage payroll, vendor payments, billing, and treasury operations.
• Develop and maintain a treasury policy appropriate for the company’s stage and risk profile.
• Evaluate, select, and implement accounting tools and systems to support scaling.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing accounting and compliance for multi‑entity, multi‑jurisdiction organisations.
• Strong understanding of tax, statutory reporting, and treasury management.
• Ability to own operational finance workflows and free up FP&A for strategic initiatives.
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to regulatory changes.
