About the role
The Financial Assets Accountant will support the financial management and reporting of New Zealand's most significant water and wastewater infrastructure assets. Working from Watercare's modern Newmarket office, the role contributes to the stewardship of critical public utilities.
Key responsibilities
- Manage financial records for water and wastewater infrastructure assets.
- Prepare and deliver asset performance reports.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards for asset accounting.
- Collaborate with internal teams to maintain accurate asset registers.
