Financial Analyst – Performance and Planning

About the role

We are looking for a Financial Analyst – Performance and Planning to join Foodies’ Finance team in North Island. The role will support budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning while delivering insights that drive better decision‑making across the co‑op.

Key responsibilities

• Support budgeting, forecasting and long‑term strategic planning processes.
• Deliver analysis on performance trends, risks and opportunities.
• Prepare management reports and dashboards with a focus on data integrity.
• Maintain and improve forecasting models and planning tools.
• Partner with business stakeholders to provide financial and operational insights, recommendations and actions.
• Contribute to reporting enhancements through data, automation and AI.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of experience in finance, FP&A or commercial analysis within a large corporate environment.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Strong knowledge of SAP and TM1 (highly desirable).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and a continuous‑improvement mindset.
