Financial Accountant

About the role

This position is responsible for delivering high‑quality financial management, reporting and accounting services across the organisation. You will support operational and strategic decision‑making through accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present financial statements, management reports and variance analyses.
• Develop, maintain and monitor budgets and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Provide advisory insights to senior stakeholders on financial performance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve financial processes and strengthen internal controls.

Required profile

• Relevant accounting qualification (CAANZ, CPA or equivalent).
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong understanding of accounting standards, financial reporting and internal controls.
• Proven experience preparing reports, budgets, forecasts and financial analysis.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
