Finance & Planning Specialist (Part‑time)

About the role

We are looking for a part‑time Finance & Planning specialist to join our small, dynamic team at Bluff Distillery. You will keep our financial records tidy, support the wider team and help grow New Zealand’s #1 ultra‑premium gin brand.

Key responsibilities

• Manage bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable, receivable and payroll, and maintain an accurate general ledger.
• Prepare monthly financial reports – P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and excise – and track sales performance.
• Produce dashboards for directors and provide data‑driven insights.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and inventory, stock and purchasing oversight.
• Handle customer queries and support sales & marketing activities such as campaign coordination and digital content.
• Provide ad‑hoc assistance across the business as needed.

Required profile

• Hands‑on bookkeeping experience with commercial oversight.
• Tertiary qualification or equivalent in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 15 hours per week onsite, with flexibility for peak periods.
• NZ driver’s licence and legal right to work in New Zealand.
