Finance Business Partner

About the role

IHC is looking for a Finance Business Partner to join its National Office and Choices NZ, based in central Wellington. The role works closely with senior leaders to give trusted financial advice and decision support, helping shape financial planning, business performance and continuous improvement. It is a permanent full-time position with a salary of $115k-$143k.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to provide trusted financial advice and decision support.
• Deliver budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and performance analysis.
• Provide financial modelling and forward-looking insights to identify risks and opportunities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes, reporting and business partnering practices.

Required profile

• Commercially minded finance professional with strong technical expertise and the ability to build relationships and influence decisions.
• Comfortable working with complexity and able to turn financial information into practical insights for leaders.
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker focused on continuous improvement, sustainability and meaningful outcomes.
• Chartered Accountant (CAANZ or equivalent) with experience in business partnering, financial planning or management accounting.
• Legal right to work in New Zealand.
