Finance Business Partner

About the role

We are seeking a commercially‑minded Finance Business Partner to provide strategic financial insight and trusted advice across our revenue and operational teams. You will translate complex financial data into actionable recommendations that drive growth and improve performance.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to deliver strategic, consultative financial support.
• Prepare, challenge, and refine annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
• Produce monthly performance reports, analysing key metrics, trends and drivers.
• Conduct margin analysis and assess financial impact of pricing, plan changes and commercial decisions.
• Support revenue analysis, cash‑flow forecasting and scenario modelling.
• Build robust business cases and financial models for new initiatives, investments and projects.
• Assist New Product Development through pricing analysis, payback calculations and trial assessments.
• Monitor actual performance versus budget, flag risks and opportunities, and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide insight into internal spend, cost‑centre management and business stability.
• Integrate external market and industry insights into unit and site strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Finance Business Partner, Senior Commercial Analyst or similar commercial finance role.
• Background in a complex industry such as dairy, manufacturing, agriculture or FMCG.
• Strong analytical ability with experience in financial modelling, business case development, forecasting and scenario analysis.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, capable of influencing at all levels.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented and able to manage competing priorities.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused and passionate about improving business performance.
