Finance Business Partner

About the role

Join IAG as a Finance Business Partner and work directly with senior leaders to turn financial data into clear business direction. This permanent, full‑time position is based in Auckland and offers a blend of onsite collaboration and flexible remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to provide financial insights that guide decision‑making and improve performance.
• Prepare and deliver monthly performance reports, translating results into actionable narratives.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles, ensuring assumptions are realistic and aligned with strategy.
• Analyse variances, identify trends, risks and opportunities, and recommend corrective actions.
• Support business case development with financial modelling and scenario analysis.
• Build trusted relationships across finance and the wider business to influence decisions.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant or equivalent.
• Solid experience in finance or management accounting, including budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting.
• Business partnering experience, preferably within financial services.
• Strong analytical ability to turn complex data into clear insights.
• Confidence to challenge assumptions and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent communication skills to make financial information accessible.
