Field Technician – Ground Engineering (Auckland & Christchurch)

About the role

Mainmark is seeking motivated, safety‑focused Field Technicians to join its ground engineering teams in Auckland and Christchurch. You will work on a variety of residential, commercial and infrastructure projects, applying specialised technologies to stabilise and support structures.

Key responsibilities

• Raise, re‑level and re‑support homes, buildings, bridges, roads and other structures using Mainmark’s proprietary systems.
• Operate field equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to project schedules.
• Collaborate with customers, project managers and crew members to achieve successful outcomes.
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout each project.
• Maintain high workmanship standards and follow all safety procedures.

Required profile

• Reliable, hardworking and enjoys practical, hands‑on work.
• Previous experience in a construction trade (e.g., building, plumbing, concrete pumping).
• Physically fit for manual outdoor work and able to work under pressure.
• Strong commitment to safety and a team‑first attitude.
• Flexibility to travel between sites as required.
