Field Sales Executive – Wellington

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Field Sales Executive to join our Wellington team at DHL Express. In this hands‑on, target‑driven position you will grow revenue by acquiring new customers and expanding existing accounts across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities through prospecting, referrals and networking.
• Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customers to maximise revenue.
• Maintain regular contact with clients, including face‑to‑face meetings and calls.
• Understand customer needs and propose appropriate DHL solutions.
• Prepare and deliver sales proposals, tenders and account plans.
• Negotiate pricing within company guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records and pipeline activity in CRM systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as Customer Service, Operations, customs and Finance.
• Support sales campaigns, promotions and events.

Required profile

• Proven experience in field sales or account management, preferably within express freight or logistics.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong relationship‑building and communication abilities.
• Excellent planning, organisation and time‑management skills.
• Resilient, proactive and able to perform under pressure.
• Full, current driver’s licence.
