About the role

ProVision is seeking a Field Operations Lead to head the on‑site activities of New Zealand’s leading drone operator. You will be responsible for flying and planning drone missions while developing into a senior leadership position. The role offers meaningful work in spectacular locations across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day field operations for drone services.
• Operate drones safely and efficiently on a variety of projects.
• Plan flight missions, including route selection and risk assessment.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure project delivery meets quality and timeline expectations.
• Mentor junior staff and support their professional growth.

Required profile

• Proven experience in field‑based operations, preferably with unmanned aerial systems.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Ability to work independently in remote or challenging environments.
• Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
