Field Merchandiser (2 Positions)

About the role

Goodman Fielder is looking for two part-time Field Merchandisers in Invercargill to keep its products on shelf and ready to buy. The role is mostly independent, with a focus on on-shelf availability, and involves working with products such as milk, cheese, yoghurts and bread. It suits someone who is physically fit, organised and enjoys customer interaction in a supermarket.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure Goodman Fielder products are displayed on shelf and ready to purchase
• Lift product up to 12kg, such as milk crates or full racks of bread, to place it on shelves
• Work across several local supermarkets, varying from day to day
• Build relationships with grocery customers and communicate regularly with the supervisor and at store level
• Take product samples home occasionally to learn what the company makes and sells

Required profile

• Physically fit, able to lift up to 12kg continuously and work on their feet
• Organised and enjoys customer interaction in a supermarket environment
• Valid driver's licence (Restricted or above) to travel between stores

What we offer

• Pay of $25.20 plus mileage
• Schedule of 17.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri 5.00am-8.30am) or 24.5 hours per week (Thu-Fri 6.30am-3.30pm and Sat 6am-3.30pm)
