Farm Operations Administrator

About the role

As a member of LIC’s Operations & Service Group, you will provide essential administrative support to keep farm operations running smoothly, ensure compliance, and help deliver world‑class genetics and services to New Zealand dairy farmers.

Key responsibilities

• Administer purchasing processes to support daily farm activities.
• Provide contractor and health & safety administration support.
• Manage vehicle and fuel records and monitoring.
• Handle general farm administration and coordination tasks.
• Maintain bull farm data, generate reports and ensure data accuracy.

Required profile

• Strong computer and systems proficiency, especially in Excel and Microsoft Office.
• High‑level communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience in administrative support, preferably with purchasing administration.
• Ability to keep accurate records, manage competing priorities and pay close attention to detail.
• Knowledge of farming or rural environments and a full New Zealand driver licence are advantageous.
• Confidence to work independently while supporting a broader team.
