Facilities Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

Rocket Lab is seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to take full operational ownership of its Mt Wellington campus. You will ensure that mission‑critical systems such as HVAC, electrical infrastructure, compressed air, and specialized aerospace equipment run flawlessly, supporting rapid rocket and satellite manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and optimise HVAC, electrical, compressed‑air, and other critical systems across 5+ industrial buildings.
• Coordinate annual precision‑equipment calibrations to aerospace standards.
• Lead maintenance, operations and improvement projects that enable rocket production.
• Manage contractors, building compliance, and infrastructure projects.

Required profile

• 8+ years leading industrial facilities operations in aerospace, manufacturing or heavy‑industrial environments.
• Experience managing multi‑site operations with full P&L accountability.
• Proven ability to build and lead maintenance teams in high‑stakes settings.
• Trade‑qualified (Mechanical, Electrical, Fitter & Turner) or Building Maintenance qualification, or a BCom with deep facilities experience.
