External Communications Advisor

About the role

Seequent is looking for an External Communications Advisor to help shape and deliver its global and regional communications strategy. Working closely with the Senior External Communications Advisor, you will drive PR initiatives, build media relationships, and raise brand awareness while safeguarding the company’s reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of global external communications strategies.
• Contribute to high‑impact PR campaigns across media, social platforms, and events.
• Create press releases, articles, and key messaging content.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, industry contacts, and stakeholders.
• Manage PR agency and third‑party deliverables, including media databases and templates.
• Monitor media coverage, analyse performance data, and report on campaign results.
• Assist with stakeholder engagement, crisis communications, and reputation management.
• Collaborate with global teams, including Bentley Systems, to maximise communication opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in external communications, public relations, or media relations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, international environment across multiple time zones.
• Experience managing agency relationships and handling crisis communications.
• Flexibility to travel internationally and work outside standard hours when needed.
