Export Logistics & Planning Coordinator

About the role

The Export Logistics & Planning Coordinator supports Vitaco's export operations and production planning. Reporting to the Export Logistics Manager, you will ensure stock transfers, international orders and contract customer orders are processed accurately and on time while keeping all stakeholders informed.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit all required export documentation and manage permits and certificates.
• Liaise with freight forwarders to coordinate dispatch and delivery of shipments.
• Monitor production schedules, track finished‑goods availability and communicate shipment status to stakeholders.
• Support International Market Managers and maintain the customer database.
• Align order, shipment and timing information with production plans and optimise material flow.
• Maintain alignment between export/contract orders and production schedules, releasing planned orders as required.
• Provide cross‑functional coverage during team absences and perform additional planning tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Practical, proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate issues and prioritize work.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation and planning.
• Experience in customer service, preferably within a New Zealand exporting or shipping environment.
• Background in FMCG operations or MRP systems such as Navision.
• Familiarity with supply‑chain planning, production schedules and capacity management.
