About the role
We are looking for an experienced intermediate accountant to join our Auckland office and take responsibility for New Zealand tax compliance and public‑practice work. The role offers genuine client ownership, autonomy and the chance to develop specialist trans‑Tasman tax expertise within a modern, AI‑enabled practice.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, review and lodge tax returns for New Zealand clients.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant tax legislation and regulations.
- Provide tax advisory support to public‑practice clients.
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
Required profile
- Intermediate‑level accountant with solid experience in New Zealand tax compliance.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of client engagements.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to professional standards.
