About the role
The Executive Director of Nursing and Midwifery will lead more than 2,200 nurses and midwives across Central Queensland Health. This senior position is responsible for shaping strategy, workforce planning, clinical governance, quality and innovation, and influencing Board and Executive level decisions to drive system‑wide improvement. The director will be accountable for delivering high‑quality patient care through effective clinical governance and innovative practices, and will work closely with senior leadership to ensure alignment of nursing and midwifery services with organisational goals.

- Lead over 2,200 nurses and midwives across Central Queensland Health.
- Shape strategy, workforce planning, clinical governance, quality and innovation initiatives.
- Influence Board and Executive level to drive system‑wide improvement.
