About the role
The University of Auckland is seeking an Executive Assistant to provide proactive, high‑quality support to senior leaders. In this fast‑paced role you will enable leaders to focus on strategic priorities by managing calendars, coordinating meetings, and handling complex administrative tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Manage complex, changing calendars for senior leaders.
- Coordinate meetings, workshops, events, and travel arrangements.
- Prepare agendas, papers, presentations, and correspondence.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the university.
- Anticipate issues, identify practical solutions, and resolve complex problems.
- Support projects and initiatives that improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the EA Practice to deliver seamless executive support.
Required profile
- Experience supporting senior leaders in a complex organisation.
- Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
- Strong communication skills and relationship‑building capability.
- Proactive, solutions‑focused approach with sound judgement.
- Professionalism, discretion and high level of integrity.
