About the role
As an Executive Assistant at Datacom you will work closely with two senior Directors, providing high‑level administrative support that enables the leadership team to focus on strategic initiatives. The role is based in Christchurch’s CBD and offers a blend of desk‑based tasks and occasional travel.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the Directors’ calendars, schedule meetings and coordinate travel arrangements with confidentiality.
- Prioritise and triage email communications, flagging urgent matters and ensuring timely responses.
- Prepare and proofread documents, presentations and reports using Microsoft Office.
- Organise meeting logistics, draft agendas, take minutes and follow up on action items.
- Process expense claims, approve timesheets and manage leave requests for the Directors.
- Support project and team events that keep business operations running smoothly.
- Collaborate with a virtual network of Executive Assistants across the organisation.
Required profile
- Curious, adaptable and eager to learn.
- Enthusiastic attitude with strong communication skills.
- Self‑learner who enjoys continuous development.
- Team player able to collaborate effectively.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
