EV Technician – BYD North Shore Dealership

About the role

Join the BYD North Shore dealership as an EV Technician and work on the latest electric vehicle technology. You will be part of a growing workshop team that supports New Zealand’s EV revolution.

Key responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on BYD electric vehicles.
• Maintain a high level of precision and quality on all work performed.
• Follow safety standards and WOF (Warrant of Fitness) requirements.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient workshop operations.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a New Zealand franchised dealership.
• Detail‑focused approach with a passion for emerging automotive technology.
• Ability to work efficiently without compromising quality.
• WOF certification is highly desirable.

Required skills

• Trade qualification.
• EV or hybrid vehicle experience (advantageous but not essential).
• WOF certification.
