Enterprise Architect

About the role

BNZ is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to join its Tech Strategy & Architecture team. You will help shape how the bank engages with customers, aligns business goals with technology, and drives innovation across customer‑facing platforms and data assets.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to BNZ Technology Strategy, focusing on the target architecture for Customer Engagement and Marketing & Campaign Management platforms.
• Lead enterprise architecture rituals, portfolio planning, and maturity assessments aligned to simplification and modernisation road‑maps.
• Support the Customer Engagement change programme, including enterprise orchestration and next‑best‑conversation decisioning.
• Drive the Marketing & Campaign Management change programme, consolidating MarTech tools and improving campaign effectiveness.
• Partner with Enterprise Data initiatives to ensure trusted, well‑governed data underpins engagement and marketing capabilities.
• Provide guidance and standards for technology delivery across customer‑facing platforms, working closely with engineering, digital, data, and channel teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect or in a senior technology‑strategy role.
• Strong understanding of customer engagement, marketing technology, and enterprise data & analytics.
• Ability to influence cross‑functional teams and drive architectural governance.
• Experience with enterprise capability models such as BIAN and TRM is a plus.
