English QA Lead (Remote)

About the role

This remote contract role focuses on ensuring the quality, consistency, and performance of trainers working on AI‑generated English content. You will evaluate content against detailed project rubrics, provide precise written feedback, and help maintain high standards across multiple AI training projects.

Key responsibilities

• Review AI‑generated English content and trainer/QA work for accuracy, clarity, reasoning, grammar, tone, formatting, and instruction‑following.
• Assess output against project‑specific rubrics and identify recurring quality issues.
• Communicate updates, guidelines, and feedback to trainers and QA contributors.
• Support onboarding of new contributors and maintain documentation such as style guides, FAQs, and trackers.
• Activate and follow up with contributors who are inconsistent, handling escalations across time zones.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Linguistics, Communications, Journalism, Education, AI/Data Annotation, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in quality assurance, editing, content review, AI training, annotation, or similar workflows.
• Experience leading or supporting remote teams of trainers, annotators, reviewers, or QAs is strongly preferred.
• Excellent written communication skills and the ability to give constructive feedback.
• Highly detail‑oriented, organized, reliable, and able to work independently in a fast‑moving remote environment.
