Electrical Leading Hand – Grid & Construction

About the role

Twoticks is seeking an experienced Electrical Leading Hand to oversee electrical teams on major grid and construction projects. The position is based on‑site in Auckland and supports infrastructure work in Victoria, Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate electrical crews on large‑scale grid and construction sites.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and project specifications.
• Manage daily site activities, including resource allocation and progress reporting.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and subcontractors to deliver projects on time.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a supervisory electrical role within construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of grid systems and high‑voltage installations.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

What we offer

• $68 per hour (AUD) with overtime paid at 2× rates.
• Allowances and $3,000 relocation assistance plus one week of pay.
