Power Jointing (2018) Limited is looking for an experienced Electrical Distribution Cable Jointer to join its growing team in Christchurch Central. This full‑time, on‑site position offers the chance to work within a supportive, Tiriti‑led business that values staff development and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Join and maintain electrical distribution cables across power generation and distribution sites.
• Perform cable splicing, terminations, and joint testing in accordance with industry standards.
• Interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings to ensure correct installation.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any issues to supervisors.
• Adhere to all safety and compliance procedures while on site.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an electrical cable jointer, preferably in distribution networks.
• Ability to work on‑site full‑time in a physically demanding environment.
• Commitment to following safety protocols and quality standards.
