Duty Manager – Retail Store (Blenheim)

About the role

The Warehouse Group is seeking a Duty Manager for its Blenheim store. This fixed‑term position runs until 1 November 2026 and covers the busy Friday and Saturday shift from 1 pm to 10:30 pm. The role steps in when the store manager is absent, ensuring smooth operations and accurate cash handling.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations and cash‑up procedures.
• Maintain a safe and compliant environment for staff and customers.
• Drive team development and keep staff focused on performance goals.
• Ensure trading standards are met and control shrinkage.
• Uphold consistency in service and visual merchandising.

Required profile

• Minimum two years retail experience, preferably with some leadership exposure.
• Strong drive, ambition and the ability to interpret and execute plans.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• First Aid certification and Building Warden training.
