Director, Medical Affairs APAC

About the role

The Director, Medical Affairs APAC will lead the Medical Affairs function for DePuy Synthes in the Asia‑Pacific region. Reporting to senior leadership, the role is responsible for shaping medical strategy, generating scientific evidence, and communicating clinical insights for orthopedic products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the regional Medical Affairs strategy aligned with global objectives and business priorities.
• Provide scientific and clinical leadership for marketed and pipeline orthopedic products, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Drive evidence generation activities, including clinical studies, real‑world data analyses, and publications.
• Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, scientific societies, and internal cross‑functional teams.
• Influence product adoption and patient outcomes by translating medical insights into actionable plans.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in Medical Affairs or related clinical functions within the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong background in orthopedics or related therapeutic areas.
• Ability to work across multiple countries in the APAC region and collaborate with diverse stakeholder groups.
• Excellent communication skills and a track record of influencing internal and external partners.
