Digital Specialist

About the role

Meadow Mushrooms, New Zealand’s leading fresh mushroom producer, is seeking a Digital Specialist to drive its digital strategy. Working closely with the CFO and business units, you will shape both customer‑facing and internal technology initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of the company’s digital strategy and roadmap.
• Plan, prioritize and implement digital initiatives in collaboration with the CFO and cross‑functional teams.
• Identify gaps and opportunities for digital adoption, including AI, automation and data governance.
• Support the review of legacy systems and contribute to future technology roadmaps and transformation projects.
• Coordinate third‑party consultants and internal support desks for desktop support, networking, firewall management, and on‑premise and cloud applications.
• Promote a strong security culture and high security awareness across the organisation.
• Provide user technology and business application support and training as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in an enterprise business‑application environment.
• Proven experience reviewing processes, analysing requirements and supporting enterprise applications.
• Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft O365 ecosystem, including Power Apps and SharePoint.
• Excellent spoken and written English and a mature, people‑focused mindset.
